The co-ed Grade-K  program focuses on having fun while learning the basics: dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting and of course good sportsmanship.  Games are officiated by coaches.  No score is kept for games.

The co-ed Grade 1 program continues the focus on having fun while learning the basics of dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting and of course good sportsmanship; and begins to   introduce "small sided tactics" or "team play" and the "Laws of the Game.”  Games are officiated by coaches.  
Grade 2 5v5 (4 field players and a keeper) (2) 24 minute halves

The Grade 2 program introduces "small sided tactics" or "team play" and begins to introduce the "Laws of the Game". A goalkeeper is added at this age level.
Grade 3/4 Travel 7v7 (6 field players and a keeper) (2) 25 minute halves

The Grade 3/4 Travel program is a competitive program focused on challenging players by playing against teams from surrounding towns.  Players wishing to play Grade 3/4  Travel must attend skill assessment in the spring to help determine their team and division placement.  MYSL has regulations governing roster sizes.  In the event that the number of registered players will not divide equally into teams WYSA reserves the right to drop players as necessary to ensure the correct number of players per team.  See "About Travel Soccer" for details.
Grade 5/6 Travel 9v9 (8 field players and a keeper) (2) 30 minute halves

The Grade 5/6 program is focused on continuing player development.  Players will be placed on teams based on the results of player assessments and coach’s recommendations.

MYSL has regulations governing roster sizes.  In the event that the number of registered players will not divide equally into teams WYSA reserves the right to drop players as necessary to ensure the correct number of players per team.  See "About Travel Soccer" for details.  Note:  WYSA is not affiliated with the Westford Middle School and High School programs.  We encourage players who make their school teams to also play with WYSA.

In the fall, our Grade 9-12  program is affiliated with the Nashoba Valley League. This league plays recreational soccer, focused on having fun and enjoying the sport.  Games are played against other towns in the Nashoba Valley area (e.g. Groton-Dunstable, Acton-Boxborough, Harvard, Ayer, Northborough, etc.).   Players registering late will be placed on a waiting list.  See "About Travel Soccer" for details.
